I'm mainly posting this topic to see what some of you think about the idea of having potbellied pigs as pets. I've heard from breeders that they make exollent house pets and are clean andaffectionate. I'm thinking of owning one myself someday but was wondering if maybe some of you may own one or know someone who does, if you could possibly share with me anything you might know before I make a decision to weather or not I truly wanna own one of these awsome animals. and I hope to get some good and helpfull responses here, thanks

Nicole I remember seeing something about those pigs on the news! It was in the 80's though! People had to give their pets up caus they grew so big! I wanted one a few years ago! But my Dad said we couldn't have one! They were considered to be farm stock! I was really sad! So I got a guinea pig! I'm happy with Emma and now my new dog Daisy who was abused by her former owner! Good luck in what ever you decide! Keep me posted!

I think as long as you ready to keep this monster amused and prevent it from getting into things it shouldn't smile, then go ahead. But, beware, in britain there was a fad for these pigs some time ago and people underestimated the work involved in keeping them day to day. Many of them ended up being abandoned or needing rescued.

Well Lou if you don't mind wandering off topic then well hmm, neither do I...

I think you read in some, though not in all respects what you did from the opposing perspective of what it was I was attempting to convey. I will try to explain *wondering if there is enough band width and now where is that 4000 character limit tally…

The thing with this gentleman was the manner of his choosing of the photos/graphics…that many of the graphics/photos were so new/multidimensional to me that I was forced (not forced in a negative/demanding way but more so liken as into a force of nature… something that is say a force that is natural..) that my mind/thots were given to come alive to new perspectives on living/life and what I had hoped to convey to you was that you through the various E-mail using designs/photos may very easily give into another’s world some glimpse of something that is missing out of their own life…that between the two of you, that new enrichments could very easily be attained to, although oft times it is not until many months/years down the line when it is that real learning comes into understanding/fruitation.

I realize you have a concern that what you E-mail to someone is not offensive/porno and well, my thots are that if you go with a reputable E-card firm/company then for the main the designs/photos should not veer too far off the course you desire to follow on and if the talk is ongoing and continuing with that other then any misunderstood/offensive graphics/photos could right away be discussed and then too if that is the case you would come to know what designs/graphics that you would not desire to send to another for conversation purposes.

In conclusion Lou, if you should desire I would be say your guinea piglet for a couple go ‘rounds at this E-mailing of cards with graphics/photos so you can ease yourself into all of this or at least discover if this is a way you desire to go when communicating with others.

Post Script…I think it is your turn at Song Speak unless Becky beats you to it!
